Meet the Team!

Lucas

Lucas grew up in the bakery industry, working in his father's bakery alongside his mother. Here he learned hard work pays off and to do things right the first time. In high school Lucas debated between a career in wood shop/metal working or automotive, so he flipped a coin and automotive won the toss. This led him to college where he holds dual degrees in automotive repair and automotive collision refinishing repair. Lucas always dreamed of owning his own business and continuing his passion for automotive so in 2017 he purchased Meiers Motors. Being mechanically inclined, in his free time he tinkers with anything that has an engine. At home he does remodeling of his farmhouse and catches a good movie every now and then.

Growing up with an identical twin, Matt learned early on the bond siblings have. As a young kindergartener Matt convinced his twin brother Mike to switch kindergarten classes because his brother's class had better toys. This went on for many months until the kindergarten teachers started comparing the names that were being turned in on the children's homework assignments. The boys had successfully fooled the teachers and their mother had to come down to the school to identify each of them. This story made the headlines in the post-crescent in the early 80's. Matt has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He has always liked working on cars and takes pride in a job well done and a satisfied customer. Matt's background is in construction and with that hands-on knowledge he brings a different perspective and solutions to some of the automotive issues we encounter day to day. Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. You can find Matt camping and enjoying the outdoors or working on some sort of construction project.

Kurry became interested in cars at a young age through family. He was intrigued by the paint and body of vehicles because of the dramatic results of the work. Kurry's career path has some creative roots as he was a singer/guitarist for a well known band in the late 80's and early 90's. Settling down after Rockstar life Kurry was a chef for many years but continued his passion for automotive and received manufacturing training from BASF, SATA, Dupont, Meguiars, and others. Kurry also owned and operated his own auto body collision and repair shop for many years. Kurry's hard work over the years has paid off as he's had the pleasure of painting almost any vehicle possible from exotic cars and hot rods to aircraft and military vehicles. Kurry is a dedicated husband and father of five children. He enjoys traveling to Tennessee with his family and more locally their permanent campsite. When the opportunity arises Kurry and Lucas like to go target shooting together.

Jessie grew up in a car family. Her father has worked on, painted, or restored just about every vehicle known to man. There was always a project in the family garage where she and her brother learned a lot about mechanics and body work. Jessie usually taped up the vehicle and her brother learned how to sand and prep them for their dad. Throughout the years Jessie dressed up in poodle skirts and 40’s – 50’s pin up attire to attend various car shows and photo ops. Early home remodeling projects with her dad led to her career path in design/construction/restoration for the last 24 years, but her passion for old cars was always there. Last year, after years of trying and praying, Jessie found out she was pregnant and her career path shifted gears (no pun intended lol). A friend thought Jessie would be a good fit/addition to the Meiers Motors team and so that journey began. Jessie and her husband are adjusting to life with a baby and enjoy traveling with family. Closer to home they enjoy car shows and fishing in the new to them boat. When time and money allows they enjoy remodeling their farmhouse where Jessie is a 3rd generation.
